Hello Everyone

I just wanted to say hello, how are you doing and it's an honour being on here. New to these types of boards so forgive me if I do something dumb or have no clue what I am doing XD

Anyway I am Adder24 I have lurked on tumblr for years and enjoyed PoI since day dot, have wrote a few fics, done a few pieces of fanart and currently plotting more, so would like to join in one day with some of the big bangs.

Sunday Discussion: It's a new writing week, and that means a fresh start. Maybe you had a great writing week last week, or maybe last week wasn't the greatest for getting writing things done -- what kind of goals do you have for keeping up your momentum or starting off fresh this week?

PoI Big Bang Artists, it's time to claim the fic you want to make art for and the writer you'll collab with.

1) Read through the summaries below, choose a fic, and reply to this post with the number next to the summary.

2) Summaries are first come, first served. Check the comments before you reply.

3) Writers, keep an eye on this post too! When your fic is claimed, find out how to send your current draft to your artist and how you want to communicate with them for the rest of the Bang. Dreamwidth has private messaging for sharing email addresses, don't do that on the community (beware of spam bots). You can also check the Artist Signups post for their usernames on Discord etc.

4) Artists, the draft you receive will be incomplete, so be kind to squishy writer brains as you get this glimpse into their creative process.

5) If you're interested in claiming a summary but you're not already signed up as an artist, please do that first.

6) We currently have eight writers and seven artists. If we have summaries left unclaimed, we will do a second round of art claims next Sunday.

7) Put October 4th in your calendar! That's when you and your collab partner will choose a date in November to post your completed fic/art together.

8) RULES ADDITION: I don't think anyone in this fandom would use it, but just to make it an official stance of the Bang: Artwork created using AI is NOT welcome here. Our writers are spending hours of their lives to create these long fics, so ten minutes typing some keywords into a plagiarism aggregator is not sufficient reward for their efforts.

Need to get some words in? The Weekend Writing Marathon (WWM) is a writing challenge designed to help you do just that. You set your own writing goal for the weekend and work to achieve it before reporting back to the group on Sunday night.

How do I participate?

1. Reply to this post with your weekend writing plans–be as specific (or not) as you’d like.

2. Start writing on Friday 12:01 am local time. Work to meet your goal by Sunday night at 11:59 pm local time. You can work on whatever you want during this time.
